This past June, Trella’s founder, Jonathan Krane, spoke at a two-day webinar, “Building Back Better – Climate & Culture,” hosted by the Global Foundation for the Performing Arts (GFPA) and The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The panelists discussed topics related to the United Nations 2015 Sustainable Development Goals, specifically: Health and Well-being (SDG3), Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG7), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG8), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG11), and Climate Action (SDG13).
In his speech, Krane spoke about Trella’s past and present projects, including its tree gifting app on Tencent, China’s most popular multimedia corporation, and the 100 tree projects aimed to educate Chinese schoolchildren. Krane also elaborated on the environment-themed virtual art exhibition Trella hosted. Watch Krane’s full speech here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEFbuIV_E1c (TIMESTAMP 1:14:25 – 1:31:30)
