Carbon storage on the nursery

In just four years Trella’s Metasequoia 水杉 at the nursery have stored an about 3.3 metric tons of carbon. Trella’s first crop of were started from seed in 2019.

Our oldest Metasequoia now tower well over the heads of our staff.
Someday, if we’re a bit lucky, Trella’s Metasequoia will grow to the size of this one growing on the campus of Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.
