The last open areas available in the Taizhou Super Center North Field are filled as we plant the 2020 crop of seedlings into the earth. Each seedling is planted 40 centimeters apart within its row, and 50 centimeters between the rows. Planting in autumn allows lots of root growth so the seedling is anchored well and has nutritional support for growth the following spring. Prior to out planting the seedlings are graded for root quality and stem straightness and then staged in crates. Planting with Trella’s custom transplanter helps ensure best quality trees.
